In a recent matter, Daniel analyzed claimed damages associated with alleged false and misleading statements made by defendants that plaintiffs’ automotive sealants pose health risks.  The plaintiffs claimed lost profits, loss of business reputation and goodwill, disruption of plaintiffs’ ongoing business activities, and threats and disruptions to relationships with customers.

Daniel’s experience includes the automotive industry where he assisted a heavy truck and automotive supplier in a significant breach of contract matter to analyze claimed minimum purchase requirements, rebates and alleged contingent price discounts related to drivetrain parts and assemblies.

He also analyzed claimed insurance losses associated with a fire loss and related business interruption at a printed circuit board manufacturer resulting in preparation and issuance of an expert report of findings.

Daniel applied his forensic accounting skills to investigate allegations involving conspiracy to hide assets from creditors in a bankruptcy proceeding. The project involved extensive review and analysis of complex transactional and financial records, and deposition testimony culminating in drafting of an expert report.
